We all dream of becoming a champion. We at ICE (International Champions in Education) believe that every child has the potential to become a champion – a champion who could stand the test of time and contribute to the success of society. To this end, we created PIMSO, a community to bring together champions from all places, of all beliefs and races, of all color and culture for the betterment of our global society.
We tapped the best in the academe, with vast experiences in various elite organizations and international avenues.Backed by their exceptional expertise in their fields, we hope to ignite a passion for lifelong learning in our students that would impact future success.
COMPETITION DETAILS
FOR
PIMSO MATH – Sr. KG to Grade 12
(as per academic year 2024-25)
PIMSO Science – Grade 1 to Grade 12 (as per academic year 2024-25)
WHERE
Online from home (not from an examination centre). On desktop/laptop only with webcam for remote proctoring.

PIMSO MATH : 30-31 August, 2025

Registrations are Open Now for national round. Online Registrations Only.
Last Date of Registration: 31st May, 2025 (For Maths & Science).
Fees: INR 2000 per participant (student). Discounts available on multiple competitions or multiple entries.
Fees include: Access to some past papers and answer keys as downloadable soft copies.
Online exam login credentials, schedule and exam instructions will be provided by email after registrations close one week before the exam.
Registration through G.O.A. is open only for students from India.
Students who get Gold/Silver/Bronze/Achiever awards in national round can then apply for PIMSO Math/Science Finals held in a different country by paying an additional registration fee.
How to Prepare for the Olympiad
- You will receive some past papers access with answer keys on registration for many Olympiads. This will be assigned as a course to you under the “My Courses” section of this website when you login to you account.
- You may also join our Online Training available if you are from Grade 1 to 8 (Explore our training page).

PIMSO MATHEMATICS
- Eligibility: Kindergarten to Senior Secondary Levels (Grades – Sr. KG to 12)
- Topics Covered: ARITHMETIC & NUMBER THEORY, LOGICAL ANALYSIS, ALGEBRA, GEOMETRY, and
COMBINATORICS. (for more details see Syllabus below). - Exam Duration: 90 Minutes
- No. of Questions: 30 . All questions are Open ended and NOT MCQs.
- Marking: 5 Marks per question. (no negative marking)
- No working to be shown but only Answers to be given.
- Students can do solution working on rough paper and keep it till results in case required.
- No Calculators are allowed.
- Any kind of malpractices/unethical practice will lead to termination of test or disqualification.
PIMSO SCIENCE
- Eligibility: Grade 1 to Senior Secondary Levels (Grades – 1 to 12)
- SUBJECT DOMAINS covered: Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Earth & Environmental Sciences, and Space Sciences. (for more details see Syllabus below).
- Duration: 75 Minutes
- No. of Questions: 30 Multiple-Choice Questions.
- Marking: 5 Marks for each question. No negative marking.
- No Gadgets or calculators allowed.
- Any form of cheating is a ground for DISQUALIFICATION.
PIMSO MATHEMATICS
1.National Round – PIMSO Awards Committee shall recognize the participants in this manner:
A. Higher 60% of the total number of participants from each grade shall qualify to apply for the International Round and shall be entitled to one of these awards based on their scores and Global percentile:
- Top 8% – Gold Medal
- Next 12% – Silver Medal
- Next 15% – Bronze Medal
- Next 25% – Achiever Medal
- Next 20% – Merit Certificates
- Next 20% – Participation Certificates
Global Ranking Special Award per level, if applicable:
- Champion / Perfect Scorer – Trophy + Training
- First Runner Up – Trophy
- Second Runner Up – Trophy
Cash Awards have been discontinued from this year.
B. Lower 40% of the participants shall receive either of the following:
- Upper 50% – Merif Certificate
- Lower 50% – Participation Certificate
2. International Round – PIMSO Awards Committee shall recognize and award the participants based on the following criteria:
- Top 8% – Gold Medal
- Next 12 % – Silver Medal
- Next 15% – Bronze Medal
- All other participants – Achiever Medal
Special Awards – For every level, the PIMSO Awards Committee shall give additional awards to:
Perfect Scorer* – Trophy
- Champion (Rank 1) – Trophy
- First Runner Up (Rank 2) – Trophy
- Second Runner Up (Rank 3) – Trophy
- All Participants – Philippine Eagle Stuff Toy
**Cash Awards have been discontinued after the first edition on 2020-21***
** Please note that all the expenses for the International round registration (which is relatively much more expensive than the registration fee of National round) and travel has to be borne by the participants so treat the International round as optional and a separate competition although one has to become eligible to apply through the National round only. Awards as mentioned above are for both rounds and so the awards for National round does not depend on participation for International round.**
PIMSO SCIENCE
1. National Round – PIMSO Awards Committee shall recognize the participants in this manner:

ONLINE TRAINING
Global Olympiads Academy brings a Math Enrichment program for younger kids (grade 1 to grade 8) for International Olympiads (AMC, AIMO, TIMO, WMI, HKIMO, SEAMO,PIMSO,AMC 8, Gauss, etc.) The program will help the students strengthen their fundamentals, application and problem-solving skills and their overall higher order thinking skills like logical and analytical thinking. This course with Global standards (inspired by Common Core, Singapore Math and Indian NCERT curriculum) will not help students overcome fear with Math but would inculcate ownership, rigour and perseverance and most importantly liking for the Math. This will help them improve their academic performance in school and definitely in any competitive exam and lay a strong foundation for preparation of entrance exams in future.
