FERMAT MATHEMATICAL OLYMPIAD

ABOUT FMO
Any student can participate in FMO 2023-2024. as long as they have an interest in Mathematics and adequate basic mathematical knowledge. Ultimately, the purpose of this competition is to help every student answer the age-old question: “Why study Mathematics?”.
In 2023-2024, Fermat Mathematical Olympiad FMO takes place for the third time. In the previous seasons, the competition was a great success by having attracted the attention of many students from all over the world such as Azerbaijan, Bulgaria, Cambodia, HongKong, Indonesia, India, Macau, Philippines, Thailand, Turkey, …. Following that success, with some alterations in the examination structure and the
appearance of real-life problems, together with many valuable cash prizes, FMO 2023-2024 promises to be an educational, interesting but also challenging mathematical playground for students. This is also a great opportunity for the participants to compete on a global scale and have memorable experiences.

Fees: INR 1400 per participant (student). Discounts available on multiple competitions or multiple entries.

1. National Round
- Perfect Score: Contestants with the perfect score. (105 points) – for students choosing option 1 (Applied for nations with more than 200 candidates) – Trophy and 200 USD
- Excellent: The highest scorers in each grade.(Applied for categories with more than 100 candidates) – 80 USD
- Gold Award: Top 10% scorers in each grade – Gold Medal and Certificate
- Silver Award: The following top 20% scorers in each grade – Silver Medal and Certificate
- Bronze Award: The following top 30% scorers in each grade – Bronze Medal and Certificate
- Merit Award: The following top 20% scorers in each grade – Electronic Certificate
Note: For awards with cash prizes, in case there is more than one contestant receiving the same award, the prize will be divided equally.
– All other remaining 20% participants will receive participation electronic certificates.
– Participants with Gold, Silver, or Bronze Awards are allowed to register forthe final round.
2. Finali Round
- Champion: The highest scorers in each grade. (Applied for categories with more than 100 candidates) – Crystal trophy & Cash prize: 150usd
- 1st runner-up: The second-highest scorers in each grade. (Applied for categories with more than 100 candidates) -Crystal trophy & Cash prize: 100usd
- 2nd runner-up: The third-highest scorers in each grade. (Applied for categories with more than 100 candidates) – Crystal trophy & Cash prize: 50usd
- Gold Award: Top 10% scorers in each grade – Crystal trophy and certificate
- Silver Award: The following top 20% scorers in each grade – Crystal trophy and certificate
- Bronze Award: The following top 30% scorers in each grade – Crystal trophy and certificate
